Dear Friends in the Lord:
Welcome to our new journey to the Promised Land. The Lord has seen fit to take a remnant of His people, and begin a new work for His glory. On September 14, 2008, a congregation starting in a house set out on a mission: to boldly launch out and build an exciting, living, vibrant, Spirit-led congregation of Jesus Christ to be a shining light in the city of Harrisonburg and Rockingham County, Virginia. We envision being a congregation which is relevant to the 21st Century in which we live, one which will be effective, making an impact for Jesus Christ on a lost and dying world. We have the opportunity now to “break out” and be the people of God that we know we can be, unfettered by the status quo and traditions inherited from past generations, which has always seemed to hold us back. Ephesians 3:20 says, “Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us…” This means that the Lord can do more than we can even imagine. Can you imagine that? Come on and get in at the ground level! See what the Lord can do. May God Bless you!
