Matthew 22:37-40 - first & greatest commandment

Matthew 5:38-47 - love your enemies (personal enemies in the church, not national enemies)

John 13:34-35 - love one another

John 15: 13- greatest love is to lay down your life for your friends

John 14 :23-24 - if you love Jesus, then you will obey His teaching

1 John 3:16-18 - love with your actions instead of with your words

Matthew 25:31-46 - whatever you do for any needy person (this is more directed to people in the church)- you do it for Jesus.

Love is doing; sacrifice; helping others; selflessness ; - not necessarily feelings.

Let's look for opportunities, not just let them fall in our cap.

1 John 4:8-11 - God showed His love to us

1 John 4: 19 - 21- If you don't love your brother, you can't love God.

1 Corinthians 13 - the love chapter

 

Main Point - If we don't have love we are nothing.
